  Monitoring is ok. However, after my landlord decided not to renew my lease, I contacted Guardian to cancel and was told I had a FIVE YEAR contract. This was not disclosed to me by my sales rep Shane. Where I am moving does not allow Guardian to install, and they are not wanting to let me out of my contract. I do not believe they are a fair or honest company and I would not recommend them. There should be exceptions for situations like this.UPDATE: AFTER PHONE CALL TO HOME OFFICE, FURNISHING PROOF OF NON-RENEWAL OF MY LEASE AND PROOF THEY COULD NOT HOOK UP SERVICE WHERE I AM MOVING, THEY FINALLY AGREED TO RELEASE ME FROM MY CONTRACT. READ THE FINE PRINT....TAKE NOTHING FOR GRANTED!
